Hayley Matthews - Cricketer



Hayley Matthews is a female cricketer from Barbados who plays for the West Indies women's cricket team. She was born on January 23, 1998, in Bridgetown, Barbados.


Matthews made her debut for the West Indies women's cricket team in February 2014, at the age of 16, in a One Day International (ODI) match against New Zealand. She is a versatile player who can bat, bowl and field, and has played in all three formats of the game - ODIs, T20Is, and Test matches.


Matthews has established herself as a key player in the West Indies women's team, known for her aggressive batting style and her ability to score runs quickly. She has also taken wickets with her off-spin bowling and is an excellent fielder.


In 2016, Matthews was a part of the West Indies women's team that won the ICC Women's World Twenty20 tournament. She was named player of the match in the final for her performance with the bat and ball.
