In the first Bloody Daddy trailer, Shahid Kapoor is seen by himself taking on a group of thugs. The movie debuts on Jio Cinemas on June 9.


Here is the Bloody Daddy official teaser for Shahid Kapoor's upcoming movie. Shahid appears in a tough persona in the action movie directed by Tiger Zinda Hai's Ali Abbas Zafar, taking out several thugs in a hotel over the course of a night. In the teaser, Sanjay Kapoor and Diana Penty are also briefly shown.


The film Bloody Daddy is the first time Ali Abbas Zafar and Shahid Kapoor have worked together. In the trailer, Shahid Kapoor can be seen walking into a hotel's dim corridor wearing a black suit and wielding a knife to dispatch goons. The subsequent scenes depict Shahid's character's desire to get retribution following a personal catastrophe. The preview quickly moves on to demonstrate how there will be "cops, family, and lots and lots of blood" in the action. Get ready for a BLOODY fantastic time at the cinema, Shahid stated in the description after posting the teaser to Instagram.

Shahid had stated to PTI that he enjoyed playing action in the movie. "It was really enjoyable. I had a lot of fun making an action movie, and I loved working with Ali. He has a deep understanding of the genre. What do you do on the big screen if you're doing something this huge on OTT, is the current conundrum. It has been a blast, but we need to work that out," the 42-year-old actor remarked. The 2011 French film Nuit Blanche will be officially adapted in the next movie Bloody Daddy.


During a recent Jio Studios event called Infinite Together, the movie's release date was revealed. A direct digital release on Jio Cinemas is planned for the movie beginning on June 9. The movie also stars Ronit Roy, Sanjay Kapoor, Diana Penty, and Rajeev Khandelwal in addition to Shahid.
